What is a peace-tied sword?
I’m attending a wedding at a Ren Faire later this month and have full Ren Costume with a non-sharp dress blade. However the web -site for the faire is requesting that all weapons inlcuding costume be peace-tied?
It means the blade is tied into the scabbard so that it can’t be pulled out. At most Ren faires they put a zip tie around the handle and the belt loop in the scabbard. It’s so drunk guys don’t do anything they would regret.
