Broadsword Weapon
which weapon is better suited for white crane, Straightsword, Broadsword, or staff?
I have come to a pivotal point in my martial arts career, I am currently learning the southern shaolin white crane style and I now have the ability to learn a weapon form, I do not know which weapon would be better suited for me, broadsword, straight sword, or staff. Any kind of help from anyone with experience in this topic would be much appreciated.
a staff was my first weapon,
easy to get hold of, relativly cheep and easy to replace, and blunt so if you hit yourself accidently it isnt too bad, (i know i did)
you should get a better eye for co-ordination
i personaly used a broom handle at first haha, i still have it now, but i then moved onto a broadsword
